The SANCO Group – an effective alliance of small and medium-sized insulating glass manufacturers within the EU single market

The SANCO product range is made in more than 50 European companies. It includes highly effective thermal insulating glasses, combined acoustic/thermal insulating glasses, solar control insulating glasses and safety glasses. The SANCO Group had a European orientation from the very start. Today it includes not only German companies, but also insulating glass manufacturers from Belgium, Denmark, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Slovakia, Czech Republic and the Ukraine.

The licensor

The parent company is Glas Trösch GmbH in Nördlingen, Germany. It is here that the technical innovations are implemented and the licenses are issued that entitle companies to produce SANCO insulating glass.

The consultant

SANCO’s consultancy department based in the Nördlingen works is a service centre for all licensed SANCO companies. It represents the Group on the appropriate bodies, and provides technical advice, training and seminars. It is also the hub of internal communications and external advertising and press work.
